Dust Deflectors

COVENT has applied this technology in high abrasion applications such as iron ore pelletizing plants. Service life has increased from 6 months to over 6 years. The dust deflectors are protected with chromium carbide wear plates and will need to be replaced as required. There are significant cost savings and increases in service life compared to complete rotor blade liner replacement.

Key design features
The dust deflector blades are easily and quickly replaced through the inspections doors. The rotor does not need to be removed and the fan does not need to be dismantled.
